Support for Individuals Considering / Pursuing MAiD

Bridge C-14 is building a community where no one touched by MAiD will feel alone or unsupported. We are providing a compassionate and safe place for individuals to share their lived experience and to build meaningful connections with others who can relate throughout all stages of the MAiD journey. We invite you to join in on the conversation, to find the support that you are seeking and to experience a feeling of community with others who understand and appreciate your journey.

1:1 Peer Support is available to individuals who have applied and have (minimally) had one assessment completed and are on track for the second assessment, as well as for those who have been found eligible for MAiD.

Connections can be arranged by phone, text, email or online meeting platform.

Drop-in sessions are 60 minutes in length (can be extended to 90 minutes with participant and facilitator approval/interest) and are an opportunity to connect, discuss and share with others who understand and appreciate the experience.

All sessions are hosted via Zoom. These sessions are an opportunity to provide informal peer-to-peer support to individuals journeying through MAiD.
